Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Logistic and Warehouse Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations. The trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of our trainees in the logistics and warehouse sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on activities, tailored to the needs of the logistics and warehouse industry.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both theoretical and practical, to diverse groups of trainees, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Assess trainees’ performance through various evaluation methods, such as quizzes, practical assessments, and feedback sessions, and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and warehouse management to ensure the training content remains relevant and current.
- Collaborate with other trainers and staff to continuously improve training programs and methodologies.
- Provide mentorship and support to trainees, addressing their questions and concerns to facilitate a positive learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of trainees’ progress and performance, and prepare reports for the Training Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards during training sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in logistics and warehouse management are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a training or instructional role.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse management principles, including inventory control, distribution, transportation, and safety regulations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficient in using training tools and technology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience working in the Middle East, particularly Iraq.
- Familiarity with local industry standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
