Position Summary:

The Field Services Coordinator (FSC) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities within the Field Services Department. This role focuses on reporting to the Field Services Planner and ensuring seamless collaboration between Field Services’ leadership team members. The role also involves coordinating with other departments on tasks related to Field Services, particularly those involving logistics and camp management.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage field service schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, including PPE, winter jackets, and other essential equipment.
  • Coordinate with the Field Services Planner before engaging local service providers, suppliers, or contractors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, contractors, service providers, and suppliers to confirm service requirements and schedules.
  • Uphold departmental objectives by ensuring high-quality accommodation, dining, and recreational facilities at field camps.
  • Oversee operational maintenance and repair procedures for camp facilities.
  • Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and tools to field locations.
  • Manage the delivery of tools, equipment, and spare parts to sites and camp locations.
  • Facilitate clear communication of safety protocols, work instructions, and expectations to field personnel.
  • Provide support for HSE training and emergency response planning, particularly during cabin movements.
  • Maintain accurate records of service jobs, including work orders, invoices, and reports.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all service work adheres to company standards.
  • Perform periodic site visits to align field operations with company objectives.

Problem-Solving & Process Improvement:

  • Address and resolve operational challenges encountered by the field services team.
  • Implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and drive continuous improvement through data analysis.

Technology Utilization:

  • Leverage field service management software to optimize operations.
  • Ensure team members are trained in relevant systems and tools.

Ad-Hoc Support:

  • Remain on-call and prepared to undertake additional tasks or projects as needed.

Qualifications & requirements

Education:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or relevant degree

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in field services, project coordination, or a similar role, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.

Language Skills:

  • Must be fluent in Kurdish and English, both verbal and written.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Possess a clean Iraq Driver’s License.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with field service management tools and safety regulations.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HSE protocols and emergency response planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and address operational challenges proactively.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description in an irregular shift pattern.
  • Ability to travel to field locations as needed and perform site visits.
