Job Summary
Ambulatory Front Desk Officer - Consistently acts as a primary point of contact for patients and exhibits the core principles of patient- and family-centered care. Performs a variety of duties for patients entering the health care services through outpatient setting or emergency department including greeting patients, demographic registration, financial registration, validation and authorizations, billing and collection practices. The Front Desk associate acts as a resource for patients and assists physicians, staff and ambulatory care service teams, connecting and communicating with patients while facilitating the transition to and from the clinical points of services.
Working conditions Fast paced environment Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts, flexibility in scheduling (weekends, holidays, days, evenings, nights) to meet operational needs.
