Job Summary
PREADMISSION / ADMISSION, DISCHARGE and TRANSFER (ADT) SUPERVISOR – Responsible for supervising the operations of admission, transfer, discharge office and preadmission tasks to facilitate proper access to hospitalization service and to support the quality initiatives to optimize patient satisfaction and clinical resources utilization.
Position holder is required to lead the successful transition of registration and financial processes to meet agreed service levels, and to assist in implementing changes and processes to facilitate efficient quality admission access services and achieve goals and objectives established.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Education
Associate Degree / business administration, health administration or related discipline Experience Five years of proven experience as supervisor in healthcare / customer services in hospital setting. Patient access experience. Knowledge of health insurance plans. Certification and Licensure Preferred Post graduate courses in Medical Terminology. CHAM Certification (NAHAM) – Certification of Healthcare Access Manager Skills and Abilities English language competency Team Building and Leadership Communication Skills Adaptability Problem-Solving Skills
