Purpose:
As part of Empowering Local CSOs/NGOs to Enhance their Role in the Localized Implementation of the Second NAP 1325 in Ninewa, the project focusing on the strengthen the Women Peace and Security Agenda at local levels in Iraq, specifically in Ninewa, through the enhanced participation of women representatives, NGOs and CSOs, and related government bodies. SOSD is therefore looking for Field Coordinator (Female Candidate) to work under aforementioned project.
The Field Coordinator will report to Programs Manager
Key Areas of Responsibility
• She has strong experience in delivering Training and running community meeting.
• Ensure the development and implementation of work plans, setting clear targets and activity plan.
• Prepare all training needs, inputs to reporting documents.
• Ensure regular communication with the Programs Manager on activities’ updates, achievements and challenges through meetings and reports..
• Ensure proper use of equipment and other material resources available to the project.
• Promote and ensure project activities are online with child protection principles and best practices.
•Respect and adhere to SOSD Code of Conduct child safeguarding policy
•Prepare monthly individual work plan and submit to Programs Manager.
•Report work in a biweekly and monthly manner to Programs Manager.
•Any other task by line manger
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
•University degree in Sociology, Psychology, social work and at least three year relevant area work experience.
•She is very strong Written & verbal proficiency in Arabic and English language.
•She has very Good computer skills.
•Good understanding of the local context especially of the IDP/ Returnees situations in Iraq
•Good interpersonal skills, good communication, organizational & analytical skills & ability to work well in a team.
•Good report writing skills, preferably in English.
• Worked previously in an international NGO
• Fully familiar with WPS, no need for extra training
• Able to produce slide presentations
• Good liaison and networking abilities
•Ability to multitask, handle pressure, improvise, and be a good team player.
•Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Based in Mosul
