Job Title: Department Manager — International Study Programs
Location: Work Academy
Position Type: Part-Time

About Work Academy:
Work Academy Kurdistan International Training Center is a leading professional training and employment agency in Iraq and Kurdistan Region. We are committed to empowering individuals through high-quality education, training, and career development services.

As part of our expansion, we are launching a new department dedicated to supporting students who wish to study abroad. This department will guide students through the entire process of finding scholarships, applying to international universities, and preparing for study outside Iraq.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the new department focused on international study opportunities.

Provide guidance and support to students who wish to study abroad.

Research and maintain up-to-date information on international universities, programs, and scholarship opportunities.

Build partnerships and maintain communication with international universities and scholarship bodies.

Develop promotional materials and presentations about available opportunities for students.

Organize seminars, workshops, and information sessions for interested students.

Collaborate with other Work Academy departments to ensure smooth coordination of services.

Prepare regular reports on department performance and student placements.

Qualifications & requirements

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of international university systems, study abroad requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Previous experience in international education consulting, scholarship advising, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Type: Part-Time

Location: Based in Kurdistan/Iraq, with occasional meetings or workshops as needed.

Salary: Commission-based (percentage of income generated)
