  Position Summary:

  The Completion Engineer reports to the Well Services Manager. The position is filled by one person working a 5 day per week schedule. The position is responsible for completing the Sarsang artificial lift completion project.

  Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  Core Competencies and Capabilities Required Required to have the capability of undertaking the following tasks unsupervised: Convert existing HKN development well to artificial lift (ESP) ESP completion design to be installed in existing development wells when production decline occurs, Create Basis of Design detailing all components required to be compatible with existing well architecture, Oversee Prosper model to validate the ability of the completion to deliver expected production rate, Identify long lead items and procurement times. Create project schedule to illustrate the time required to implement beginning from the time a decision is made to convert the well to artificial lift, Issue ITT for all required ESP completion equipment and services, Write completion programs. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of: completion design and installation procedures. ESP completion design and installation procedures. Nodal analysis modelling (Prosper preferred). Equipment/service tendering practices. To be able to provide sound direction to contractor personnel during wellsite operations, To be able to challenge the contractor when contractor performance or actions do not meet expectations, Excellent supervisory and organizational skills to be able to supervise a wide range of operational activities and contractor personnel.
