Job Description

Cihan Auto-Trading Company is looking for a bright and aspiring Candidate for the following vacancy:

 

Position:                   Training Manager

Hours:                      8 Working Hours- 6 Days per week (Sat-Thu)

Location:                  Erbil, Kurdistan Region


Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance the skills and productivity of all Dealership staff. This role focuses on optimizing team performance, improving customer service standards, and ensuring all staff are knowledgeable about Vehicle specifications, Dealership policies, and Industry trends. In particular, he will be responsible to achieve certification levels for Service staff. This position requires close coordination with HR department and National Managers (Sales, Service & Parts).
  1. Training Needs Analysis:
  • Identify skill gaps through needs assessments in coordination with HR & Line Managers.
  • Understand ‘Certification’ requirements for Service staff, as per Principal guidelines.
  • Assess ‘Soft’ skills training needs of Customer facing staff – CRM, Sales & Service.
  • Coordinate with Distributor’s Training Department to facilitate Learning & Development.
  • Identify needs of Supervisors to enhance their Leadership & Team Management skills.
  1. Training Program Development:
  • Design Training programs tailored for Sales, Service, and Support departments.
  • Build programs to effectively address ‘skill gaps’ identified in training needs analysis.
  • Ensure Training programs are a mix of Internal, External & Distributor developed programs.
  • Prepare Training calendar in collaboration with HR department & National Managers.
  1. Performance Evaluation:
  • Measure effectiveness of Training programs by tracking individual & team performance.
  • Conduct regular training evaluations and make improvements based on feedback.
  1. Other Responsibilities:
  • Develop, oversee and mentor trainers and coordinators in every branch & department.
  • Stay abreast of trends in training, e-learning, personal and professional development.



 

Qualifications & requirements

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field (Training).
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience as Training Manager, ideally in automotive industry in Iraq or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of Automotive Sales and Service operations will be an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design, implement, and assess training programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities.
