Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer to deliver a specialized course on Tower Installation – Safety and Technical Procedures. This practical training program is designed to equip participants with the essential safety protocols and technical knowledge required for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of telecom towers.
The trainer will be responsible for preparing and conducting training sessions, both theoretical and hands-on, aligned with international safety standards and telecom tower installation best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 3 to 4 days of training covering safety and technical procedures related to telecom tower installation.
Provide in-depth instruction on tower types, components, site access, installation techniques, fall protection, and emergency rescue planning.
Lead practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions for safe climbing, PPE use, and equipment handling.
Facilitate assessments and provide constructive feedback to participants.
Ensure training content is compliant with health, safety, and telecom industry regulations.
Prepare and share reports, attendance records, and evaluation summaries.
Customize training delivery based on participant needs and field conditions.
Coordinate with the training center team for logistics, equipment, and certification processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom tower installation, rigging, or infrastructure development.
Proven training or teaching experience in safety and technical topics.
Certified in Fall Protection, Working at Heights, or related HSE disciplines (e.g., OSHA, NASP, IRATA, GWO is a plus).
Strong knowledge of telecom tower types, erection techniques, tools, and structural standards.
Excellent understanding of PPE use, emergency rescue procedures, and risk management.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage and engage trainees from diverse backgrounds.
Fluency in English; Kurdish and Arabic are an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in training for international organizations or telecom companies.
Familiarity with antenna installation, alignment, and system testing.
Competency in using climbing safety gear and rescue tools.
Technical certification in telecommunications or construction safety.
