Reporting To: Business Unit Manager

Salary Range: $3000-3500 USD

Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for marketing and selling the company’s goods and services to new and
existing customers. He/ she is also responsible for identifying new markets and business opportunities. His/
her role helps to ensure the company commercially successful sales objectives are reached.
Ideal candidate must be sales driven and self-motivated with a proven track record in provision of sales of
Services such as Maintenance, Project Management Consultancy, Automation, and Supply in the Energy, Oil,
and Gas and Utility sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise and support to Clients, helping them understand the company’s products and
services.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
• Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective Clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.
   Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
• Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
• Follow up with client to guarantee payment of invoices on time.
• Following up with the Pre-sales Dept. safe receipt and delivery of inquiries, tenders, bid bonds…etc.
• Following up with the Logistics Dept. & Finance Dept. any document related to any issued order.
• Register the company as a vendor service provider for clients working in Federal Iraq related to Energy, Oil,
Gas, and Industrial.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
• Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to ensure Client needs are met and to
provide feedback for continuous product improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, Clients interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
and loyalty

Qualifications & requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical or related field. Master degree in
preferred;
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in sales or technical support within the oil and gas industry;
• In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, budget preparation, and customer trend analysis.
• Fluency in Arabic and English languages.
• Proficiency in Ms. Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook)
• Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas equipment, products, and services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to
non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.



Working Conditions & Benefit Package:
• Working Days & Hours: 5 days per week & 8 Hours per day
• Salary: $3000 - $3500 USD per month
• Allowances: Transportation, Communication & Food
• Annual Leave: 21 Paid Days
• Annual Holidays: 16 Paid Days
