JOB DESCRIPTION

 

JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST

DEPARTMENT: Istanbul Business Directorate  

SUPERVISOR'S DUTY: Business Manager

Location: Duhok, İrak

REPLACEMENT PERSON(S): Assistant Quality Control Specialist, Senior Quality Control Specialist

 

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • To take samples from Input/Product/Commercial Products in accordance with the rules specified in the quality plans, to perform tests, to prepare result reports, to ensure the preservation of the reports, to ensure that the test/inspection results are rejected/accepted with the approval of the Business Manager.
  • To notify the Business Manager, Production and Maintenance Manager about the action regarding stopping the product line that is found to be non-conforming during production, according to the Kalekim Authorization Table (SG_LS_0004).
  • When there is a non-conforming input/product for which Quality Control tests have been performed, to prepare an Input-Product Non-Conformance Report and to make a decision regarding the finalization of the rejected product/input (Scrap / Feedback / Return), to inform the Business Manager by forwarding a copy of the report to the Management Systems Manager. .
  • To use, clean and maintain the devices in accordance with the instructions during quality control activities and to keep the working environment clean and tidy.
  • Opening fault-maintenance records of quality control devices.
  • To follow the validity periods of the calibration dates of the devices used in Quality Control and to notify the Production and Maintenance Manager before it expires.
  • To make the Calibration / Verification suitability decision in line with the process tolerances regarding the equipment in the area of ​​responsibility.
  • To decide whether the products can be recovered or not by examining the returns received with the Product Recovery Form, as determined by the Shipping Specialist.
  • To report the statistical calculations of the data recorded for KPI calculations (Bag Weight Deviation, Non-Conforming Product/Input, Non-Conforming Production Number...) to the Data Analyst.
  • To check the compliance of the packaging of the products stocked in the warehouse and the raw material-product stock area with the determined stocking rules and to inform the Business Manager.
  • Conducting periodic product / Pilot Product analyzes and reporting. Sharing inappropriate situations with the Business Manager and R&D manager.
  • Reporting to the Business Manager on Quality Control activities.
  • To ensure consistent implementation of Company Procedures in the Business-Quality Control Department.
  • Preparation of documents related to the Business-Quality Control Department, ensuring that they are updated and revised.
  • To approve the forms on which all kinds of tests and records related to Quality Control are written, when necessary, in the absence of the Business Manager or with his permission.
  • To establish coordination with R&D to make the necessary revisions in cases where the Quality Control Plans for the Product / Input are insufficient and when necessary.
  • To ensure the development of methods and techniques that simplify the Quality Control approval process.
  • To follow the revised quality plans in QDMS and make the necessary adjustments in the SAP-QM (Quality) module.
  • To follow up the software adjustments in the SAP-QM module by reporting them to the IT department.
  • Checking the product performance test results in the SAP-QM (Quality) module and approving the appropriate results, and taking the necessary actions by notifying the top manager for inappropriate results.

  • To have knowledge about emergencies, environment and work accidents and to act accordingly. To inform the Unit Manager and the EHS representative in case of environmental or occupational accidents.
  • Working in line with the Zero Waste approach.
  • Adopting a sustainability approach (economic, environmental and social).
  • Working in accordance with the Information Security policy and KVKK.
  • To implement the instructions regarding information privacy and KVKK in communication channels.
  • To act in line with the principles of confidentiality, integrity and accessibility in order to effectively manage information security.

Qualifications & requirements

  1. EDUCATION LEVEL

          UNIVERSITY: Preferably; Chemical Sectors

                                                                                 

  1. EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years (experıence in the Quality Control Field for 1 year.)
