Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned QA/QC Civil Engineer Trainer Expert to join our team and lead our training programs in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within the civil engineering sector, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring engineers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on QA/QC principles, standards, and best practices in civil engineering.
  2. Design curriculum and training materials tailored to the specific needs and requirements of participants.
  3. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and online, ensuring engagement and active participation.
  4. Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees, offering insights and practical advice based on real-world experience.
  5. Utilize various teaching methodologies and tools to facilitate learning and enhance understanding of complex concepts.
  6. Assess trainee performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to QA/QC in civil engineering.
  8. Collaborate with other trainers and subject matter experts to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
  9. Assist in the development of new courses and training initiatives to meet evolving industry demands.
  10. Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.

Qualifications & requirements

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the civil engineering industry, including experience in training or mentoring.
  3. Proficiency in QA/QC standards, methodologies, and tools commonly used in civil engineering projects.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and training delivery.
  6. Proven track record of leadership and mentorship, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  7. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or Kurdish is a plus.
  8. Willingness to travel within Iraq and occasionally internationally for training assignments.
  9. Ability to adapt to different learning environments and cultural contexts.
  10. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
