 Project Coordinator

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: [Duhok]
Reports To: Program manager
Contract Type: [full-time]

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Organization:
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
  • Organize and coordinate project kick-off and review meetings.
  1. Task Coordination and Monitoring:
  • Assign tasks and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor project activities to identify risks, issues, or delays, and propose solutions.
  • Ensure alignment between project activities and overall objectives.
  1. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between team members, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Prepare and share meeting minutes, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
  1. Financial and Administrative Support:
  • Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate procurement processes, including sourcing and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines and organizational policies.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including contracts, budgets, and reports.
  • Create and present regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Document lessons learned and project evaluations for future reference.
  1. Team Support and Capacity Building:
  • Support project team members with training or resources needed for effective implementation.
  • Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts within the project team.

 

 

Qualifications & requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in [relevant field, e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, or Social Sciences].
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in project coordination or management roles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identify and address challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant project management tools.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours during project peaks.
