Skills and Qualification
Financial Management
1) Assist the Project Director in accounting duties and in the preparation of monthly and annual budgets, as well as in preliminary work for project proposals
2) Control expenses with the Project Director and provide him and the Country Finance Officer & Country Accountant Officer with any data and reports upon request
3) Prepare vouchers for the project expenses, including receipts and invoices, with reference to budget codes
Ensure correct filing of vouchers and supporting documents:
4) Send all vouchers and related supporting documents to the Country Office every week
5) Reconcile cash book with the cashier every week
6) Prepare appropriate documentation and attend any financial control sessions or audits
7) Ensure financial accounting complies with JRS financial guidelines and procedures and with national and regional legal requirements
8) Maintain regular and timely communication with the Country Finance Officer & Country Accountant Officer.
9) Provide financial technical support to logistics assistant(s) and other staff as required.
