HSE Officer / Drilling (4) Required
Location: Al-Faihaa (Block 9 Field), Basra
Work System: Rotation
Experience: At least one year in oil well drilling sites
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Permit to Work system and ensure that all permits are properly completed and signed before any work begins.
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), identify potential hazards, and implement appropriate control measures.
• Monitor daily work activities to ensure they are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Conduct periodic inspections of safety equipment, drilling equipment, and work sites to ensure their safety and operational suitability.
• Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for on-site personnel.
• Ensure that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available and that personnel are using it correctly.
Requirements:
• Certificate in Safety or a similar specialty
• Knowledge of safety regulations in the oil sector
• Excellent English and Arabic language skills
• Certified professional safety certifications
• Proficiency in the use of basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite).
