Job Description

Housekeeping supervisor

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hospital, in adherence with the Site policies and procedures
  • Organizes the cleaning staff with task and ensures adequate staff coverage as per rosters
  • Manages the team to adhere to the Site policy and procedures.
  • Conducts supervision visits all of the departments on a regular basis,
  • Ensures that staff is adhering to proper dress code, understands the scope of work, documents are maintained properly and that the chemicals, PPE and mechanical equipment is maintained.
  • Provides feedback to the staff.
  • Submits reports to the Operations Director on a daily basis.
  • Provides requisite training when required, including cleaning methods, materials, and equipment principles of sanitation and safety; proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Mixes cleaning chemicals to prepare cleaning solutions according to the specifications of the MSDS (material safety data sheets)
  • Ensures that the company assets are preserved and not misused.

 

 

Qualifications & requirements

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • At least 3 years in cleaning supervision role
  • Knowledge with cleaning chemicals
  • Knowledge with cleaning machines
  • Ability to write reports and understand manuals and policies
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Good communications skills
  • Good command of English both written and spoken
  • Ability to manage staff
  • Certificate in secondary education or diploma in any discipline
